Madohomu Flirting

This is kind of my head-canon for post-Rebellion~

Homucifer is such a bad girl; she's got nothing to lose so she's quite forward with Madoka, but the moment Madoka reciprocates her affection, Homura breaks down into the weenie that I truly believe exists beneath her pain. 
I like to imagine that this is probably one of the first times, in my head-canon, that they share affection. After that, Madoka shifts toward a more dominant role; she can see that Homura's a troubled girl who needs someone to care for her. I wonder about Homura's family sometimes, and especially after Rebellion. 

Madoka regains her memories in short order, but she keeps it a secret. She's torn between her frustration with Homura but also blames herself. She did, after all, fail to save all the magical girls; Homura's world has left everyone happy. Sayaka and Kyouko have a chance to become friends and lovers again... Tomoe and Nagisa are engaging in a horrifying, illicit relationship (I guess, I unno), and Madoka gets to see her family again... and Homura, she realizes, has a chance to be with Madoka. So after a few months, Homura finally starts to confess her feelings; she acts aloof around Madoka but finally, having nothing to lose, throws herself at Madoka. Madoka reciprocates her love and Homura has a big weenie breakdown. 
And then the next day, Madoka's hair is inexplicably longer and her eyes shine gold~  

Homura would be super clingy and needy, but Madoka would understand. Eventually, I think that Homura would learn to calm down, but after so long of losing Madoka, she'd have a hard time letting her have agency again; she'd be protective and controlling as ever, but Madoka would be able to bring her down from that. Madoka probably loves to cuddle and loves to hold hands, kiss, and snugglebutt, and Homura is happy to be with her. Madoka's time in America changes her into being a bit more forward, though! She tells Homura how it's going to be, and when Homura realizes that nobody is going to take it away from her... that Madoka is really with her, safe, in love.... well...
